I'm thrilled to share my TEDx Helsingborg talk, a passionate exploration into the intricate web of influences that shape our lives. What's it all about?  Well, I delve deep into the profound impact that society, school, friends, and parents have on our decisions and how we perceive ourselves. It's a journey through the often complex and sometimes contradictory forces that shape who we are. You may agree, disagree, or be left with lingering questions, and that's perfectly okay. It might resonate with your own experiences or you might have counter-arguments or personal anecdotes. Remember, the beauty of TEDx is in its capacity to inspire and challenge.

When I stepped onto the TEDx Helsingborg stage, I knew I wanted to send a message that would resonate deeply, a message about how we perceive truth and shape our own realities.

To immerse the audience into this topic from the very beginning, I embraced the power of silence, silence empowers us in ways beyond words.

So for the first 60 seconds, I stood before the audience, in silence. It was a deliberate pause, a silence that commanded attention, setting the stage for what was to come. This silence wasn’t just about grabbing attention; it was about letting everyone experience firsthand what I was about to discuss.

“How We See is What We See.”

It was an invitation to introspect, to reflect on how we interpret and construct our realities.

As the seconds ticked by, diverse interpretations filled the room. People thought I was nervous and forgot my lines, others believed it was a deliberate act. Some were ready to catch me, thinking I might faint, while some saw courage in it and some thought it was a much longer than a minute and this simple act showcased how a singular truth can birth a multitude of interpretations, illustrating the essence of my talk.

Self-development and MBTI

Self-development and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) are two topics that are closely related. MBTI is a personality assessment tool that helps individuals understand their personality preferences, strengths and potential areas of improvement. It is widely used for personal and professional development, team-building, and career planning.

The MBTI identifies individuals into one of 16 personality types based on their preferences for four dichotomies: extraversion vs. introversion, sensing vs. intuition, thinking vs. feeling and judging vs. perceiving. Each type has its own unique set of strengths and weaknesses, and understanding your type

Definiation MBTI

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality assessment tool based on the theories of psychologist Carl Jung. Developed by Isabel Myers during World War II, the questionnaire was intended to improve working relationships between healthcare professionals, specifically nurses. Myers based the MBTI on Jung’s theory of “individual preference,” which posits that differences in human behavior are the result of fundamental differences in mental and emotional functioning. Myers believed that these differences could be categorized into four distinct categories: energy, perceiving, judging, and orientation.

The energy category relates to whether individuals

Clinical significance

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was originally developed to facilitate better working relationships between health care professionals, particularly nurses. It is based on Carl Jung’s theory of “individual preference,” which suggests that seemingly random variation in human behavior is actually attributable to fundamental individual differences in mental and emotional functioning. The indicator uses a series of questions to identify an individual’s preferences in four different categories: energy, perceiving, judging, and orientation, resulting in a total of sixteen personality types.

While the MBTI was not designed for clinical use, it has been

MBTI can help build a stronger business

The success of a business is dependent on the people who work for it. Even with a well-designed recruitment and hiring process, ensuring that your team is aligned and that you have the right people in the right positions is crucial for growth. This is where the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) comes in.

MBTI is the most widely used personality inventory in the world, with more than 3.5 million assessments administered each year. The test is based on the theories of psychologist Carl Jung, who believed that each person has an
